 Teleblock® Call Compliance

More than 48 million numbers have been registered with the FTC's National Do Not Call Registry. If yours is a telemarketing company, or your company uses telemarketing techniques to reach a residential customer base, this legislation directly affects you. Beginning on October 1, 2003, a consumer who has registered but receives a telemarketing call will be able to file a complaint with the FTC. Violators could be fined up to $11,000 per incident.

Are you ready?

Access Point is. We now offer TeleBlock®, the only product of its kind that automatically screens and blocks outbound calls against federal, state, in-house and third-party Do Not Call (DNC) and Do Not Fax (DNF) lists. It uses the telephone company's network infrastructure via SS7 and IP technologies.*

As a TeleBlock® subscriber, your agents simply access an outbound line and dial. Teleblock® screens the dialed numbers against the database. If a dialed number appears on any available DNC or DNF lists, then the call is automatically blocked. If the dialed number does not appear on any DNC or DNF lists, then the call completes normally. This process is transparent to the calling process and calling equipment.
